On July 18, Fukui Citizens International Association (Fukui Prefecture) held an event for international students living in Japan to enjoy the Japanese summer atmosphere in yukata.
With Yokokan (is a garden created in the Edo period) as a backdrop, many international students seem to have enjoyed the yukata culture.
Nowadays, international students in Japan must be living a cramped life as it is difficult for them to return to their alma mater and they are required to refrain from going out.
In such a situation, this event is sure to leave a strong impression on them.
